The University of Cincinnati Department of Public Safety sent an alert to students, faculty and staff Monday afternoon regarding a shooting near campus.

The incident occurred in the 2900 block of Short Vine Street outside of Domino's Pizza, two blocks away from the east side of the Uptown West Campus.
A 36-year old man was shot in the leg and transported to the UC Medical Center, according to Cincinnati Police. The injury is considered non-life-threatening.
Police said the suspect is a man last seen driving a green four-door sedan with two women, one of whom appeared to be pregnant. According to another UC Alert, the suspects fled southbound on Vine Street in a light-blue Ford Explorer with temporary tags.
