The Kansas City Chiefs faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 for the 55th annual Super Bowl. The National Football Conference champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the American Football Conference champion Kansas City Chiefs, 31–9.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday during the 55th annual Super Bowl. The game may be the star of the show, but no Super Bowl would be complete without a halftime show, commercials and delicious appetizers. Take a look below for three recipes to fuel your gameday. 

Bacon-wrapped smokies 


  • One pound of bacon 
  • One 16 oz package of little smokie sausages
  • One cup of brown sugar 
  • One pack of toothpicks


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut the bacon into thirds, then wrap one strip around each sausage. 
  3. Put a toothpick into each bacon-wrapped sausage and place them onto a baking sheet. 
  4. Sprinkle each bacon-wrapped sausage with brown sugar.
  5. Bake them until the bacon is cooked and the brown sugar is melted. 

Ham and pickle rollups 


  • One pound of sliced honey ham 
  • Two containers of dill pickle spears 
  • One eight oz package of softened cream cheese 
  • One pack of toothpicks 


  1. Lay the ham pieces on a serving plate and pat them dry with a paper towel.  
  2. Spread each piece of ham with cream cheese. 
  3. Place one pickle spear in the corner of each cream-cheese-covered ham slice. Roll the cream-cheese-covered ham slice around the pickle spear until it forms a cylinder. 
  4. Cut each cylinder in half and spear each half with a toothpick. 

Stuffed mushrooms


  • One pound of ground beef
  • One packet of Lipton onion soup mix 
  • One egg 
  • Two pounds of whole white mushrooms  


  1. Preheat the oven to broil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix and egg until all ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Rinse mushrooms and remove their stems.
  4. Stuff the portion of the mushroom that previously held the stem with the ground beef mixture.  
  5. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and cook in oven for four to six minutes.
