Lance Stephenson joins Deonta Vaughn and Yancy Gates as the third UC Bearcat to be named to the Big East's All-Rookie team since joining the league in 2005.
Stephenson, who was a unanimous selection to make the All-Rookie team, averaged 12 points per game to lead all freshmen in the conference.
His 5.3 rebounds,1 steal and 2.4 assists per game are all in the top five for freshmen in the conference.
The Cats head to Madison Square Garden next for the first round of the Big East tournament Tuesday, March 9 and square off with Rutgers at 9 p.m.
