The University of Cincinnati basketball team is set to kick-off its 2009-10 season at the EA Sports Maui Invitational, held Nov. 23 through Nov. 25 in Maui, Hawaii.
The invitational is celebrating its 26th year and will host eight teams, which include Gonzaga, Arizona, Chaminade, Cincinnati, Colorado, Maryland, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.
Chaminade University will host the invitational at the intimate 2,400-seat Lahaina Civic Center.
Cincinnati will replace the University of Louisville, who was originally going to participate in the tournament. Louisville requested to join the 2012 field rather than 2009.
