Three former Bearcat players were drafted in the 2009 NBA Developmental League Draft.
Ronald Allen was selected by the Reno Bighorns with the 10th pick in the eighth round. Allen graduated in 2007 and played two seasons as a Bearcat.
The Maine Red Claws selected Tony Bobbitt with the eighth pick in the seventh round. Bobbitt transferred from junior college and played two seasons with the Bearcats before leaving in 2004.
The Fort Wayne Mad Ants selected Leonard Stokes with the fifth pick in the fifth round. Stokes graduated in 2003 and finished 17th in points on UC’s all-time list.
