According to Bill Koch of The Cincinnati Enquirer, the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team is expected to add Jaquon Parker, a combo guard from Suffolk, Va., to the 2009 recruiting class.

UC cuts scholarships for three men's sports

In an effort to save the athletic department between $400,000 to $500,000 annually, University of Cincinnati Athletic Director Mike Thomas announced Tuesday, April 7, that the university will cut funding for the men’s track and field team, the men’s cross country team and the men’s swimming team beginning this fall.
